Kanika Garg
Kanika is my sometimes annoying but always beautiful little sister. She is currently a senior at the University of Oklahoma and will be starting medical school in the fall.
Kanika is my original partner in crime. Whether it was sneaking cookies, staying up late, or climbing trees, my childhood is filled with memories of the two of us doing things we weren't supposed to, together. She has always been the person I turn to first and is probably the only person in the world with whom I can fight one minute and laugh the next. I love her so much and appreciate how special our relationship is.

Amber lives in Atlanta, Georgia and is a Physician’s Assistant. College roommate and sorority sister.
Amber and I met as random dorm suitemates but now it seems like fate. I can’t imagine what college would have been like without her. She was my roommate for three years and has become like a second sister to me. She is someone I can always turn to for advice no matter the situation.

Sweta lives in Denver, Colorado and works as a dentist. Denver friend.
Sweta and I met through Sagar (they attended IIT together) and now she is one of my favorite people in Denver. Together we celebrate all the Indian festivals that we miss being at home for. Being around Sweta and Manjeet feels like family because they make me feel so at home.

Surbhi Agarwal
Surbhi (Nishu) lives in Naperville, Illinois and will be starting her Master’s in Public Health at Darthmoth this fall. Family friend.
I have known Nishu for a long time, and she has always been like a little sister to me. I still remember teaching her and Kanika their first dance, and now the two of them can teach me a thing or two. As she has grown up our own friendship developed, and I am excited she can be a part of this day with me.

Priya is my cousin and lives in India. She is currently a freshman at Delhi University.
I see Priya whenever I go to India and we have a lot of fun hanging out together. A talented artist, Priya is always working on a new painting. Attending the wedding will be Priya’s first trip to the United States and I am excited that she will have a chance to see my life here.

Ayesha lives in San Francisco, California and works at Hipmunk. College friend and sorority grand little.
Ayesha is the friend I call when I need cheering up. She is so much fun to be around and whenever we are together we can never stop laughing. We both enjoy traveling and being spontaneous. She reminds me to not take myself too seriously and enjoy the moment.

Jessica lives in Denver, Colorado and works as an attorney. Law school friend.
Jess and I became friends in law school and since graduation she has also been my companion in first year working woes. She is always available for happy hour and to hear me vent about a project I can’t figure out or wedding planning that never seems to go right. She is truly one of the sweetest people I have ever met.

Akshita is a third year medical student at the University of Illinois at Chicago. Family friend.
Akshita is my oldest friend in the Chicago area. I honestly don’t even remember when we met, but I do remember hiding in closets and pretending to be asleep so our parents would let us sleep over. We had so much fun as kids and that fun only continued with ISA, potluck sleepovers, and innumerable dance practices..
